Still making things....

If you know me (which most of you don't) then you know that I love hair flowers.  They just add that little somethin'  somethin' that makes you look super pretty and put together, no matter what you're wearing or what you did with your makeup.  They are also perfect for hiding bad hair days.  I found a tutorial online for felt flowers that I thought were really pretty, and of course being myself, I stuck a hair clip on the back.  Instead of making a little pom pom to go in the middle, I decided to put a pretty  button in it.  You can really put whatever you want in the middle.
Another thing is:  I used hot glue to put the petals together, which I imagine is WAAYYY easier and less time consuming than the whole craft clue/press it/put it under a pot thing.  It worked perfectly.  Also, I curved the left and right points of the pentagon, rather than leaving them totally pointy.

Here's me with my flower:

If you want to make some, this is the tutorial that I used.  It came from Holidash.  I went a little felt crazy this week (the wreath, this flower, and I also made some leaf garland too that I'll put up tomorrow...) but it was so crazy cheap at Hobby Lobby.  It's .25 per sheet, and it's on sale for 40% off!  That makes each sheet of felt only .15 each! Have fun!
