Craft time: Leaf Garland

This was really easy to make, and looks really cute hung or draped in the living room!  (Although mine looks like it was made by a three year old).  You can find different versions of this all over the place, most are very tidy and pretty, with perfectly sized stitches.  I decided to throw caution to the wind on this one, and didn't make any kind of template or stencil for the leaves, I just went crazy cutting out shapes free form.  Oh well, it still looks cute!

Here's what you need:
A few sheets of felt (whatever colors you prefer)
Embroidery thread
Embroidery needle or quilting needle
Colored pencil (if you want to draw shapes or create a stencil)

Now just make your leaves and sew them together!  I like to make a little knot between each leaf so they don't slide around too much.  You can be really creative with this project!
